Abstract
"Bangladesh is facing a major change in digital infrastructure and innovative preparedness. These are related to Bangladesh's transition towards a knowledge-based economy from 1995 to 2024 in Bangladesh. This data was collected from a secondary databases period 1995 to 2024 from World Development Indicators (WDI) and also the database was analyzed using trend analysis and Pearson correlation analysis. The analysis shows that there have been some changes in infrastructure. The analysis shows that Electricity access went up from 18.3% in 1995 to 99.5% in 2023. The number of internet users increased from 0% in 1997 to 53.4% in 2024, and fixed broadband expanded by 269 times. At the time, adult literacy increased to 79% in 2022, and the number of people in higher education grew 4.5 times to 23.7% in 2024. These changes in infrastructure and education happened at the same time as a big increase in per capita GDP. Per capita GDP went up by 8.4 times. From $309 to $2593. The statistical results clearly show that there is a very strong positive correlation between the amount of internet access and GDP growth (r = 0.98). The results show that digital infrastructure and human readiness are the main factors for the economic growth of Bangladesh. This changing rate should keep increasing to move towards a mature knowledge economy."
